Dealers in New and Reconditioned Electrical Material

We started in 1977 in Devon Alberta. We started working out of a two stall garage and a pick-up truck. As an electrical contractor we mainly worked on service and drilling rigs as well as acreage homes. After about a year we hired our first employee, we then bought another truck and we were on our way. 

Our first major purchase of electrical material was from the Devon Hardware and that was our start of our electrical surplus business. In 1979 we moved the business to Edmonton and rented a 2000 sq. ft building with a small office, that lasted for another 2 years and we moved up the street to a 5000 sq. ft shop and larger offices. Our electrical material purchases were growing to the point where they were getting in the way of the electrical contracting so in 1990 we stopped doing contract work and stuck to the electrical supply. 

We then purchased our own building at our present location and we now have 37,000 sq. feet of warehouse and office space on three acres of land. We purchase our material from all over Canada and the U.S. from electrical contractors, wholesalers, plant completions and auctions.

In 2014 we were taken over by new ownership and remained in the same location. The same staff continue to make Valvo great. 

We sell to all of the electrical wholesalers and contractors as well as the oil industry, manufacturing industry and industrial suppliers.

Our goal has always been to provide a new or quality reconditioned product to our customer at a fair and reasonable price. Many of our customers have become more than just customers, they have become our friends which is very important in today's fast pace of doing business. We look forward to being able to serve you with all of your electrical needs.
